Hospitality Business Review profiled Hosty Co in its July 2026 edition, in a piece on why we have deliberately stayed small while the short-term rental industry races toward automation and scale.

The article, "Building Trust in Short-Term Rentals through Hands-On Management," looks at how we handle the first guest contact ourselves, walk our properties regularly instead of waiting for a complaint, review every home weekly as a team, and manage Chicago registration and tax compliance so owners don't have to. It also tells the story of a Chicago home that came to us underperforming under a previous manager and, after a redesign, a layout change and event-driven pricing, reached roughly $250,000 in annual revenue.

Maria's line from the interview sums up how we think about it: "AI is a wonderful tool, but it doesn't have a 'soul.'"
